In Boseong, the home of tea, it has been passed down that there was tea in A.D. 369 when Geunchogo of Baekje was a king.
It is recorded in Sejong Chronicles Geography(Sejong sillok geography) that Woongjeom tea place(now Ungchi-myeon) and Galpyeongso(now Hoechen-myeon) were set up.

The Ocean Breeze terraced green tea field

Youngcheon village in Hoechen, the terraced tea field surrounded by mountain, ocean, and lake. Youngchen village has the optimal condition for growing the tea tree with well-drained soil.

Since 2009, organic has been certificated Organic from NAQS(National Agricultural Products Quality Management Service), and Industry 6.0 and leads the Industry 6.0 of Boseong Tea
