In Boseong, the home of tea, it has been passed down that there was tea in A.D. 369 when Geunchogo of Baekje was a king.
It is recorded in Sejong Chronicles Geography(Sejong sillok geography) that Woongjeom tea place(now Ungchi-myeon)
and Galpyeongso(now Hoechen-myeon) were set up.
